After the eight AFC East and NFC West teams unveiled their new Nike “Rivalries” uniforms on Thursday morning, EA Sports updated Madden NFL 26 to add the community-inspired designs its popular video game franchise.
So, just like we did with all of the alternate and throwback uniforms that were in the game at launch, we fired up the game and took screenshots of the uniforms for the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets, as well as the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.
We even took it a step further by showing the individual matchups, as the uniforms won’t be worn against each other but will be showcases by the home team against a divisional opponent. Most games will take place at night, though kickoff times for the late-season matchups have not yet been announced.
This year’s matchups feature the Seahawks at Cardinals on Sept. 25, Jets at Dolphins on Sept. 29, Patriots at Bills on Oct. 5, Jets at Patriots on Nov. 13, Seahawks at Rams on Nov. 16, Dolphins at Jets on Dec. 7, Rams at Seahawks on Dec. 18 and Seahawks at 49ers on a to-be-determined Week 18 date.
The “Rivalries” series will expand to the AFC South and NFC North in 2026, AFC West and NFC East in 2027 and the AFC North and NFC South in 2028, so we’re looking forward to doing this exercise for the next few seasons. Now, let’s take a look at the new designs for each team.
