Apple Creator Studio Announced With Host of Creative Apps for iPad, Mac

Apple has just introduced the new Creative Studio subscription option with access to six creative apps across the Mac and iPad along with AI features across the iWork suite of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.

Here’s what you’ll receive as subscriber:

  • Pixelmator Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Logic Pro and Mac and iPad
  • Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Mac
  • AI-powered features and premium content in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
  • AI-powered features and premium content for Freeform later

One of the biggest announcements for iPad users is that Pixelmator Pro will come to the tablet for the first time. Here’s more from Apple:

Pixelmator Pro, the award-winning image editor for Mac, comes with the all-new Apple Creator Studio, bringing an approachable and professional editing experience to even more creators. Pixelmator Pro is packed with powerful image editing tools, empowering Apple Creator Studio subscribers and one-time-purchase Mac users to design, draw, paint, and refine their creative vision, and so much more. For the first time, Pixelmator Pro is coming to iPad, bringing an all-new touch-optimized workspace, full Apple Pencil support, the ability to work between iPad and Mac, and all of the powerful editing tools users have come to appreciate on Mac. Pixelmator Pro for iPad offers fast and efficient image editing, leveraging the blazing performance of Apple silicon and built from scratch for the latest iPadOS.

For the iWork suite, you’ll be able to use the Content Hun with curated photos, graphics, and illustrations. Subscribers will also unlock premium templates and themes. Users can also access new image creation and editing tools.

The subscription will officially arrive on Wednesday, Jan. 28. It will be available for $12.99 per month or $129 per year. All new subscribers will receive a free, one-month trial.

Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage will remain as one-time purchases. The free version of the iWork suite and Freeform will also remain in place.
