Are the Rangers in a rebuild or a retool?

Live From the Blue Seats is back as Dave and Producer JL answer a big question: Are the Rangers in a rebuild or a retool? The Artemi Panarin trade was underwhelming and did not return an NHL body, and the Rangers now need to be perfect with the trades of Vincent Trocheck and Braden Schneider, perhaps even Alexis Lafreniere as well. If that seems tough, it’s because it is. Even if/when all three are traded, there isn’t enough talent on the Rangers or in the farm system to turn this around in 1-2 seasons.

Aside: Dave has a new Patreon perk for this season, a subscriber only pod called Blue Seats After Dark. This will record on Monday nights, releasing Tuesday mornings. This will be in addition to Live From the Blue Seats. Become a subscriber by clicking here!

Don’t forget, we ask for your questions each afternoon before we record. Submit them via social media or directly here on BSB!
