aT Center LA Concludes Sixth K-Food Supporters Program and Announces 2026 Grand Ambassador

The 2026 program highlighted Korean food through creative storytelling, everyday uses, and community events across three U.S. cities

The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation Los Angeles Branch, also known as aT Center LA, has concluded its sixth annual K-Food Supporters program and named Roselinni Gutierrez (@roselinni) the 2026 Grand Ambassador.

Now in its sixth consecutive year, K-Food Supporters introduces Korean food products to U.S. consumers through firsthand experiences, creative challenges, and social media storytelling. Participants share their knowledge and experiences to help audiences understand the characteristics of Korean food and explore different ways to prepare, serve, and enjoy it.

This year’s theme, “K-Food Story,” encouraged participants to explain how Korean food fits into their meals, family routines, and personal interests. Their stories highlighted individual preferences, preparation methods, and the cultural experiences associated with food.

Activities progressed from introducing favorite Korean food products to sharing pantry selections and creating original stories around different product categories. Fermented foods, sauces, snacks, beverages, and inner beauty products provided a range of subjects for participants to explore.

Through cooking demonstrations, family tasting videos, and everyday food routines, supporters presented different uses for Korean food products. The variety of formats allowed audiences to see how the same ingredients and products could be interpreted through different tastes, households, and cooking styles.

Returning supporters contributed knowledge and experience from previous editions, while new participants brought additional perspectives. The program required participants to complete creative missions before receiving rewards, encouraging sustained participation and continued content development.

Beyond online activities, events in Seattle; Beaverton, Ore.; and San Francisco provided opportunities for supporters to experience Korean food products, exchange ideas, and meet fellow participants. These gatherings strengthened connections within the supporter community and provided material for subsequent social media stories.

Gutierrez, who participated in the program’s fifth edition, returned for its sixth edition and earned Grand Ambassador recognition for her creativity, content quality, and participation. Her contributions included conversational videos featuring family members tasting and reviewing Korean food products, alongside creative serving ideas such as kimchi nachos.

Her approach illustrated the “K-Food Story” theme by combining product information with personal experiences and family perspectives. She expressed her intention to continue introducing Korean food to wider audiences as the 2026 K-Food Supporters Grand Ambassador.

Through six years of continued operation, K-Food Supporters has developed a community of consumers and creators who share their understanding of Korean food through original stories, practical demonstrations, and cultural exchange.
