The Carolina Panthers will celebrate their 30th season this fall with a commemorative logo, which they quietly unveiled back in May and added to their jerseys ahead of Thursday’s Fan Fest at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium.
The logo is rather simple, prominently displaying a beveled No. 30 above a process blue ribbon that feature “Seasons” in between the dates of the Panthers’ inaugural season and the current year.
Naturally, Carolina’s primary logo sits in the middle of the commemorative mark, which will appear on the left shoulder of the Panthers’ black home, white road and process blue alternate jerseys.
The franchise previously honored its inaugural season in 1995, 10th season in 2004, 20th season in 2014 and 25th season in 2019 with a jersey patch – though 2004 was incorrectly referred to as an anniversary.
The patch will make its preseason debut when Carolina travels to New England to take on the Patriots on Aug. 8 (7 p.m. ET on NFL Network).
