Carrot: The Musical is the first ever Broadway-style musical for, an about an app. The two-act comedy features a murderous AI trying to overthrow her maker. And to no surprise, all 15 songs are performed by an AI theater troupe.
One track daily is being unlocked inside the app until the full show is revealed. Some of the songs include big, brassy numbers like “Fun to Make Fun Of,” heartfelt ballads such as “You Belong to Me,” and villainous showstoppers including “Make It Rain.” You can hear the first song, “Human” embedded above.
And the hysterical musical isn’t the only thing new in the app. Both the iPhone and iPad feature a new design that looks right at home with iOS and iPadOS 26.
Thanks to Apple’s Foundation Models, you can now talk to Carrot directly and do things like request a forecast for different locations and ask a question about the weather.
Other goodies include new content like secret location power-ups along with daily updating horoscopes and facts of the day.
The app also added support for other iOS 26 features including CarPlay widgets, Live Activities only CarPlay, and more.
Carrot Weather is for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. The app is a free download on the App Store now.
Anyone who downloads the app will be able to find weather conditions on an iOS device or Apple Watch, change Carrot’s personality, and search for secret locations. Access to any other features will require a subscription.
There are three subscription levels that unlock a wide variety of additional features. Premium is $4.99 per month or $19.99 yearly and includes weather data sources, notifications, maps, customization, widgets, and Apple Watch complications.
Premium Ultra is $9.99 per month or $39.99 yearly. It includes all of the Premium features along with rain, lightning, and storm cell notifications where available, super-res radar in the United States, locations list forecasts, a weather maps widget, and quick data source switching.
Premium Family is $14.99 per month or $59.99 year and allows all of the Premium Ultra feature to be shared with up to five family members.
