Job Description: RenovateRX is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of painting and finishing work across the various properties we handle in the Catskill area. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to enhancing the aesthetic appeal and overall quality of our vacation properties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming them before applying paint or other finishes.
• Select and mix paint colors to match the desired specifications and maintain accurate color consistency.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture, and other surfaces according to project requirements.
• Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish by using appropriate painting techniques and tools, such as brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Repair and patch any surface imperfections or damages before painting.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and others during painting tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as contractors and decorators, to ensure cohesive design and color coordination.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of painting equipment and work area.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of painting tasks.
• Communicate with project managers and supervisors regarding progress, challenges, and any additional materials or equipment needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter, with a portfolio of completed painting projects.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, color mixing, and surface preparation.
• Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality painting work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong commitment to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
