Have you seen the trailer for Sharon Horgan’s new HBO show, Youth? Her eight-part rom-com follows a divorced woman who’s trying to figure out sex and love, all while juggling her career, aging parents, and teenage son. “She wants to have this valuable, creative, couldn’t-give-a-fuck kind of life, but she’s not there yet,” Horgan told Vanity Fair. Save the date of September 20th.
Now that my boys are back in school, I’ve been bouncing between morning drop-offs, work, errands, and walks, and I’ve realized how much I appreciate workout clothes that don’t scream workout clothes. I really like Athleta, and their new fall studio collection has easy pieces you can move around in while still feeling pulled together. I’m especially into these drapey pants with a fitted tee. You could wear them for a workout, then throw on this pretty V-neck and head straight to dinner.
The other day, Freddie and I went on a double date. When we arrived, we realized that the other couple had already ordered fries for the table. What a fun way to kick off the evening! Everyone was thrilled, and I’d love to pull this move sometime in the future.
When I was pregnant with Anton, I packed a Lo & Sons weekender for the hospital (left), and 13 years later, I took one on our trip to Scandinavia (right). Needless to say, it’s the greatest travel bag, with a separate bottom compartment for dirty clothes or shoes, and a sleeve that slips right over your suitcase handle. So, when Lo & Sons asked if I wanted to try their new Sherborn Weekender, I jumped at the chance. It feels like a polished, super-organized version, with the same shoe compartment, PLUS a padded laptop pocket, water bottle pockets, and even a little key leash so you’re not digging around for keys at the bottom of your bag.
