Four Fun Things | Cup of Jo


This fall, I’ve been struck by how many people on the street are wearing solid colors, versus prints. I love the timeless feel of brown, denim, red, and grey. Grey sweatshirts are such a classic year-round piece, don’t you think? Jamie Haller makes a very splurgy but beautifully fitting one, and for more of a steal, I really like this soft raglan one. Both hit at the hip, feel broken in, have a crew neck that doesn’t feel too tight, and are soft at the waist and shoulders, so they drape nicely. What are you wearing these days?

Remember the Tiktok trend of asking the guys in your life how often they think about the Roman Empire? (My own dad said, “All the time, sweetie! All the time.”) Well, Brett Neustrom has some follow-up questions.

What quick dinners do you make on weeknights? Our rotation includes pesto pasta, zucchini soup, and chicken parm meatballs, and I’d LOVE to hear your go-tos.
