Four Fun Things | Cup of Jo

Left: Carrick glasses. Right: Gus glasses.

The other day, I realized that I’ve been wearing Warby Parker glasses for 15 years. (!) They always have cool shapes and fun colors, and you can try them on online. These Carrick ones have been my go-to for ages, and I just got these Gus frames, which are thin and silver. What glasses do you wear?

Also, how cool are Mr. Boddington’s new paperweights? You can customize them by choosing the hand-drawn icons that fit your person. I pretended to make one each for Freddie and me, above, and they’re like mini artworks for your desk. They’d make a great gift, too.

When we were upstate, my friend Alison made a salad, and her trick is to chop everything into really small pieces, even the greens. Once we mixed this one up — with apples, carrots and goat cheese — and added dressing, it was so delicious that I can’t stop thinking about it.

Finally, we just drove up to see my cousins in Maine, where we swam in cool water, browsed bookstores, and watched So I Married an Axe-Murderer, the cult classic and our family’s all-time comfort movie.

What have you been up to recently? Please share below, if you’d like. xoxo

P.S. More fun things, and what’s made you laugh lately?
