The Green Bay Packers will wear their all-white “Winter Warning” uniforms during tonight’s game against the Washington Commanders, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.
The Packers have worn their white alternate helmets – which are paired with their Color Rush jerseys, pants and socks – twice since they were introduced last season, including a 24-22 home win over the Houston Texans in October and 30-13 road victory at the Seattle Seahawks in December.
The helmets include Green Bay’s primary logo on the sides and a green and white striping pattern down the center, mimicking the Packers’ standard gold helmets. They’re completely devoid of gold, though, which stands out against the stripes on their collar, sleeves and pants.
Green Bay is 5-2 overall in the Color Rush uniforms since they were unveiled in 2016, though they were initially worn with gold helmets. That includes the two aforementioned victories when paired with the white lids.
The Commanders, meanwhile, will counter with their standard burgundy helmets, burgundy home jerseys, gold alternate pants and burgundy socks. They are 4-1 in this combination after gold pants were added to their closet last year.
