My neighbor used to text me daily that I left my car door open. I left my keys in my door so many times postpartum, I bought a keyless entry. That’s what motherhood is. Tiny steps forward and backwards. I am not the version of the girl I used to be. I have white hairs coming in. I miss the way my boobs looked before they were put to work.
