Honor’s Magic V3 folding smartphone is going global at IFA in Berlin in early September, as the company has already told us. Today it’s confirmed that the MagicBook Art 14 2024 laptop will enjoy the exact same fate.
The MagicBook Art 14 weighs 1.03kg and is just 12.95mm thick. It has a 14.6-inch 3,120×2,080 OLED screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 700-nit typical brightness, and in China it’s offered with Intel’s Core Ultra 5 125H or Core Ultra 7 155H.
The Chinese model has a 1TB SSD, six speakers, and a 60 Wh battery that charges from zero to full in 95 minutes. There’s also a fingerprint sensor, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6. The laptop is offered in two colors (pictured above) in China, it remains to be seen whether both will make it to global markets.
The price in China starts at around the equivalent of $1,000, but it should be more than that internationally once you factor in logistics and taxes.
