I’m all about pizza and grilling, so when I can combine the two, it’s a win. The grill gives pizza that smoky, crispy flavor you can’t get from the oven. Trust me, this grilled pizza will have you hooked!
Pizza is one of my favorite foods, but it has to be actually good. This grilled pizza recipe makes me feel like I’m eating at a fancy pizza place. It’s great to make on hot days when you don’t want to heat up your kitchen.
Grill Prep: If you want to prevent the pizza dough from sticking, then I suggest cleaning the grill well and lightly oiling it.

Preheat the grill to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oil them.
Place the pizza dough, oiled side down, on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the underside has grill marks.
Place the topped pizza back on the grill, reduce the heat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and grill until the cheese is melted and toppings are toasted, about 3-4 minutes.
Remove from the grill, top with fresh basil, cut into 6 slices, and serve fresh!
