Infinix launched the Note 60 Pro back in February, and its successor is already starting to show up in certification databases. Today, an Infinix phone with the model number X6766 has appeared in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database, and the listing also reveals its full marketing name: Note 70 Pro. Like most EEC entries, it covers the phone’s encryption paperwork rather than its hardware, so it doesn’t reveal any specs.
The X6766 model number previously showed up in the GSMA IMEI database back in August, and a DevCheck hardware entry for the same model revealed the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset at the helm, a 6.78-inch 1208×2644 screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 50MP main camera with OIS, and a 7,000 mAh battery.
If that’s right, then the only major upgrade in the Note 70 Pro compared to its predecessor seems to be its battery capacity. EEC approval usually comes a few weeks to a couple of months before a phone hits store shelves, so we shouldn’t need to wait too long for it to become official from this point on.
