Jelly Roll Files for Divorce from Bunnie XO

Jelly Roll is kissing Bunnie XO goodbye. He filed for divorce from his wife of almost 10 years, People reports. Vulture reached out to Jelly Roll’s team for comment. The country rapper filed sometime in May in their home state of Tennessee; as of June 15, he still had Bunnie’s Instagram tagged in his bio on the app. The two got married in August 2016 and renewed their vows in 2023. He thanked her in his Grammy acceptance speech in February, sharing his gratitude for her support. “I want to thank my beautiful wife. I would have never changed my life without you,” Jelly Roll tearfully stated. “I would have ended up dead or in jail. I would have killed myself if it wasn’t for you and Jesus. I thank you for that.” The two have been open about her support of him during his early career; she helped him get custody of his daughter from another relationship. Bunnie has been open about the ups and downs of their relationship on her podcast, Dumb Blonde.

The former couple was recently trying to conceive a child via IVF. “Now that we’re finally stable financially and somewhat emotionally after all the healing we’ve done over this decade together, we’re talking about the future—­including growing our family,” she wrote in her memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic. “J and I have a surrogate, the sweetest woman ever, and soon I’ll be starting my IVF stims.” Bunnie shared full custody of Jelly Roll’s daughter and helped raise his son.
