My Favorite Party Looks (Plus, a Huge Sale)

Holiday season is in full swing, and I’m curious: what are you wearing? When it comes to dress-up clothes, Banana Republic always gets it right. Look at this glamorous faux fur coat, above, for example. Also, their full-priced items are 40% off right now. Here are a few beautiful pieces I’d love wear while celebrating with loved ones…

My friend Mo suggested doing some New York-y holiday adventures, like going to an elegant restaurant one afternoon for sparkling wine and oysters. I’d love to show up in a chic wrap coat and wide-leg jeans.

This weekend, my boyfriend and I are going to a holiday party in my neighborhood — it’s actually the first party we’re attending together! Feels like a milestone, haha. I’m excited to wear a soft black sweater and a satin mini skirt with metallic heels.

For a cozy dinner out or casual friends hang (Home Alone viewing, anyone?), I’d love to wear this brown cardigan with lots of tiny buttons, plus a red lip. This gray crew neck is also understated and cool.

Funnily enough, my very first Cup of Jo post was about staying home on New Year’s Eve, but I’ve grown to enjoy the night out — the fizzy drinks, the rosy-cheeked selfies, the midnight kiss. This year, for a multi-generational party, I’m eyeing this stunning sparkly maxi dress.

For dinner at a buzzy restaurant — maybe Penny? — this crinkle satin top would look gorgeous and feel good. It also comes in versatile black and a very cool green.

Finally, an easy way to brighten up any outfit is a metallic clutch. Which is most your style: the gold, silver or bronze?

Plus, a few more lovely pieces…

Bonus for all readers: During Banana Republic’s Holiday Gifting event, get 40% off full-priced items, good until December 16th. (Exclusions apply.)

What would you wear? You can see all holiday styles here, including a silk skirt that pops in photos and a knit dress perfect for low-key hangs.

(This post is sponsored by Banana Republic, a brand we have loved and worn for years. Thank you, as always, for supporting the brands that support Cup of Jo.)
