The Rangers are back in action tonight against the Winnipeg Jets who hold, by far, the best record in the NHL at 14-1-0. The Jets are absolutely on fire right now, and are basically the polar opposite of the New York Jets. But as for the Rangers, they are allowing shots on goal more frequently than Aaron Rodgers misconnects with Davante Adams, but I digress.
The Jets are good. Very good. They aren’t “best in the NHL” good, but they are certainly a force to be reckoned with and are playing out of their minds at the moment. The Rangers not only need to be better in all areas at 5v5, but need to start converting on the powerplay consistently if they hope to have a chance against the Jets.
