The Rangers are back “in action” tonight against the Boston Bruins, though “action” is a loosely defined term at this point. The Rangers are trying, but it’s tough to see it since they have no confidence and can’t seem to get out of their own way. This time around, they won’t have Igor Shesterkin to bail them out. Jonathan Quick has been stellar as a backup, and now he’s the starter for the time being.
There’s not much else to say here. Maybe the 2025 calendar year will be better. Can’t get much worse, right?
