Despite playing better hockey, the Rangers still can’t string together wins. They scored four goals at even strength yesterday against Washington, but gave up 4 while special teams failed them in a 7-4 loss. Now they travel to Chicago to take on one of the worst teams in the NHL, one that also beat them last month. One would think this would wake the Rangers up, but who knows what wakes them up nowadays.
Louis Domingue gets the start, which hopefully means the Rangers will focus on defense. I said this about the Igor Shesterkin injury too, and look how that turned out.
