NY Rangers Game 42: Rangers at Vegas

Are the Rangers back? They’ve looked much better to start 2025 with a 3-1-1 record, including a strong win over the Devils at MSG the other night. Now the Rangers travel west for a trip through the Rocky Mountains, starting in Vegas tonight. The Rangers will be without Chris Kreider and Filip Chytil again, but are now also without Brett Berard who was returned to Hartford to make room for Bo Groulx, who is a healthy scratch. Odd roster decision, for sure.

Jimmy Vesey draws back in, presumably in Berard’s place on the third line with Arthur Kaliyev and Jonny Brodzinski. Igor Shesterkin is back in net after a strong game against the Devils. The hill is steep, but the Rangers are beginning to climb.
