The Rangers look to continue their run tonight at MSG against the better than expected Flyers. Philly is actually a halfway decent team that is fairly strong at 5v5, only to be undone by goaltending the last few weeks. Sam Ersson has been playing better lately, so we shall see if that goaltending slump continues tonight. The Rangers have had a newfound commitment to defense at 5v5, and this will be yet another test in a “really should win but not a must win” game.
The Rangers won’t have any lineup changes tonight, at least as of this writing (11:30am). The JT Miller rumor train is still chugging along, so we may get some last minute changes if a deal gets close. But that won’t be known until much later.
