The Rangers are out west to start a three game trip through California with rumblings that Artemi Panarin might not come back with the Rangers when the trip is done. Naturally there’s a long way to go there, as Panarin wants to sign an extension before waiving his no-move clause, but things work quickly sometimes. As for the game, the Rangers are facing the free falling Anaheim Ducks, who are 3-6-1 in their last 10 as they cooled from their hot start.
The Rangers did just beat the Flyers handily, getting a bump from being stress free in a retool. We will see how long that boost lasts.
