The New York Rangers are now 4-0-1 and off to a solid start. They have a chance in make it 5-0-1 against a pretty bad Montreal team. But it’s Montreal and for some reason the Rangers turn into pumpkins there, so anything can happen. They still have a solid top line that can steal a game, even if they are a bit short handed tonight without Juraj Slafkovsky.
The Rangers are getting Ryan Lindgren back tonight after missing the first five games of the season. It looks like the Blueshirts will have a bit of an extended camp for the rest of the month as they continue to figure out the optimal defense pairings. It is pretty nice to see that Lindgren wasn’t re-inserted next to Adam Fox right away.
