The Rangers blew another third period lead yesterday in Ottawa, giving up a critical point to the Senators just one game after blowing a prior third period lead against the Washington Capitals. These leads used to be safe, but all of a sudden, when it matters the most, the Rangers can’t hold onto a lead. It’s just another bullet point on a three page list of things that went wrong this season. By far the most frustrating season as a Ranger fan.
If John Davidson does not appear on March 22, which is Sam Rosen night, then this may be the last time we see this duo together at MSG. It’s truly the end of an era for Rangers fans across the globe.
