NY Rangers preseason Game 1: Rangers at Bruins

Hockey season is back, folks. The Rangers kick off their preseason against the Boston Bruins, as they look to finalize the bottom half of their roster. Their top line tonight is the “starting” third line for the season opener, at least that’s how it appears on paper. But that’s only if Brennan Othmann or Brett Berard don’t force their way onto the roster.

Aside from Othmann, keep an eye on Dylan Garand. He’s the next man up for goalie prospects. He’s struggled a bit in Hartford but had a solid juniors career.
