The Rangers wrap up the preseason tonight against the Islanders as they look to finalize their roster in advance of Wednesday’s opener. Most of the lineup is set, but we still have to see how that fourth line shakes out. While we don’t think Brennan Othmann is going to break camp with the Blueshirts, he’s still playing in his 6th preseason game tonight, so there might be a chance he gets an extended look.
Both the Rangers and the Islanders are dressing close to their NHL lineups, with a few one-offs here and there. This is as close to a regular season game as we get before the official season begins.
Game time is 7pm.
