Oppo has already confirmed that it’s launching the Reno12 series internationally later this month, and earlier today the global Reno12 Pro model got listed in Europe with a different chipset compared to the Chinese model of the same name.
Now it turns out that Oppo will also launch the Reno12 F internationally, in two versions – one 4G-only, the other with 5G connectivity. Some of their specs have been outed as you can see below.
So, the Reno12 F 4G should be powered by the Snapdragon 680, while the 5G model will get the Dimensity 6300 instead. They will both have a 50 MP main camera with the OmniVision OV50D sensor, as well as an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP decorative sensor of some sort (depth or macro, most likely).
For selfies there will be a 32 MP camera using Sony’s IMX615 sensor. The Reno12 F devices will get an LED ring around the one of the cameras on the back, and the 4G model will unfortunately not have NFC – it’s unclear if the same can be said of its 5G sibling.
The launch price is rumored to be “no less than $300” for the 4G iteration in Southeast Asia. The devices will get three color versions: green, orange, and gray.
