Poco M7 Plus’ launch date and design revealed

Xiaomi sub-brand Poco started teasing the Poco M7 Plus a few days ago, and today, it announced that the smartphone will be unveiled on August 13 in India.

Additionally, the Chinese brand said that the Poco M7 Plus will be sold in India through Flipkart and also revealed its design. The smartphone features a USB-C port, and its back cover sports a vertically-aligned camera island on the left.

Upon close inspection, you can see that the camera island has “50MP AI CAM” written on it, which confirms the Poco M7 Plus’ primary camera will use a 50MP sensor.

Previously, Poco confirmed that the Poco M7 Plus will pack a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery and will be launched in the sub-INR15,000 segment.

While Poco hasn’t detailed the M7 Plus’ specs sheet, rumors claim it will be a version of the Redmi 15 5G. If that’s true, you’ll get the Poco M7 Plus with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, a 6.9″ FullHD+ 144Hz LCD, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, and an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone will support 33W charging and feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
