Rangers recall Brett Berard; return Victor Mancini, Chad Ruhwedel to Hartford

Per Colin Stephenson, the New York Rangers have recalled Brett Berard from the Hartford Wolf Pack. Berard, the Rangers 5th round pick in 2020. Berard has been Hartford best 5v5 player this season and last, and has certainly earned his call up. He leads Hartford in scoring with a 7-6-13 line in 16 games.

For what it’s worth, Brennan Othmann has a wrist injury and is out until Christmas.

To clear cap and roster space, the Rangers returned both Victor Mancini and Chad Ruhwedel to Hartford.
