Riveo is a Great Special Effects Focused Video Editor

An Apple Design Award nominee in 2023, the app features an AI-driven FX composer. That helps you make create your own effect. You can adapt ideas from paper into any video you can imagine.

There are more than 100 special effects to choose from. You can layer color-graded filters, motion, and special effects for a number of possibilities. Some of the particle effects you can make use of include gas, smoke, soap bubblers, cartoon fire, and much more.

As you probably might guess, there are also a number of video filters like bokeh, glitch, and even a Stranger Things-inspired option.

An integrated camera allow you to record videos directly from the app.

With a Live Preview feature, you can edit in real time and preview changes to see how they look and the current scene. You can also quickly scrub through the video timeline to pick a specific moment.

To add music, you can choose from more than 100 royalty-free tracks.

When done editing, you can export everything from 720p for social media up to 4K at 60 fps.

You can download Riveo now on the App Store for free. It’s for the iPhone and all iPad models. You’ll need a subscription to use the app. That’s $39.99 yearly. There is a free, three-day trial.
