Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a school bus on designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition

• Keep the interior of the bus clean and tidy for the comfort of students

• Manage the behavior of students while on the bus to maintain a safe and orderly environment

• Communicate with dispatch, parents, and school officials as necessary

• Ensure the safe and timely arrival of students at their destinations

Requirements:

• A valid commercial driver’s license with a passenger endorsement and a safe driving record

• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test

• Ability to successfully complete a background check and meet all state and federal requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times

• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons
