Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim coming to China this Fall

Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim – that’s what IceUniverse says will be the name of the upcoming entry in the Z Fold series set to launch this October. This device was previously seen in rumors as the Z Fold6 Ultra. The new leaks also suggest Z Fold6 Slim will be heading to China as the Samsung W25. Z Fold6 Slim is not to be confused with the rumored Z Fold6 FE which will be the more affordable entry in the lineup nor with the Z Fold6 which is expected to launch next month and Samsung Unpacked.

The other details we got is that Z Fold6 Slim will be lighter and thinner than the regular Z Fold6 while also boasting a larger display than the current 7.6-inch diagonal on the last four generations of Z Folds. It will be offered with an Exynos chipset and will lack S Pen support due to the removed digitizer layer on its main display. The latter step is the key requirement to help slim down its profile.

This is not the first time we’ve seen the Z Fold6 Slim name in rumor mill, a similar report emerged back in May claiming that the thin and light foldable will debut alongside the S25 series in early 2025.
