Slow Cooker Steak and Potato Ingredients

Beef Stew Meat: I love how easy it is to use pre-cut stew meat! You can also cut a chuck roast into bite-sized pieces.
Baby Potatoes: Use yellow or red potatoes, or even a combination of both! Regular potatoes work too. Just cut them into similar sized pieces so they cook evenly.
Add Vegetables: Toss in carrots, mushrooms, or parsnips for extra flavor and a complete meal.
Don’t Add Too Much Salt: The seasoning packets already contain sodium, so taste before adding more.

Alyssa’s Pro Tip

Want a thicker gravy? Mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water, then stir the mixture into the slow cooker near the end of cooking. Cover and cook on HIGH until the gravy thickens.
