My mom brought her vintage Bob Mackie dress to NYC and I am so happy that I got to finally wear it again. The last time I wore this beautiful piece was when I was 15 years old, performing in my high school talent show, singing and dancing a cover of “Ain’t No Other Man” by Christina Aguilera. It’s amazing that after all of these years, the dress fits even better, and I’ve always wanted to wear it to a special fashion event like this night, at the Saks Fifth Avenue Social Club dinner at 4 Charles. What I love about a Bob Mackie is that it is designed for performers. They are all glitz and glamour, worn by icons like Cher and Naomi Campbell. I can’t wait to collect more Bob Mackie dresses over the years. There are some I’m eyeing!
