Use Cold Turkey to Turn Distracting Apps Into a Learning Opportunity


The app is easy to use. First, you’ll select the apps that most distract you, it can be anything from social media to games.

When you want to use one of the selected apps, Cold Turkey will allow you to review a set of flashcard s in your target language to unlock the app. Right now, you can select from Japanese, French, or Spanish. More languages are coming soon.

A special algorithm makes sure that you’ll review words at perfect intervals to maximize retention.

You can also see your progress as Cold Turkey will show off your learning patterns and productivity trends.

Cold Turkey is designed for the iPhone an all iPad models. It’s a free download on the App Store now.

With an optional subscription, you can clock websites, block unlimited apps, and block unlimited categories. A subscription is $6.99 per month or $19.99 yearly. You can also unlock the app for its lifetime with a $59.99 purchase.
