vivo is working on two new smartphones for the Indian market, the T4x 5G and the Y59 5G. Both of these have been certified for sale in India by BIS, the former with the model number V2437 and the latter with the model number V2443.
With the BIS certification in tow, the launch of both devices is expected to happen in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, the certification doesn’t reveal any details about them.
While we don’t have any more information about these, for context do note that the T3x started at INR 13,499 when it launched in April of last year. It came with a 6.72-inch 1080p display, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, 4 to 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging.
The Y58, on the other hand, sports the same screen, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and seems to otherwise be identical to the T3x. So the T4x and Y59 could also be very close relatives. We’ll let you know when we find out more.
