The Winnipeg Jets surprised us during the NHL Draft when they presented their first pick with a jersey featuring a new 15th anniversary season patch.
Based on the photos we’ve seen, the patch is fairly nondescript. The number 15 in a silver bevel is placed upon a navy blue shield trimmed in silver with a light blue ribbon behind it featuring the years 2011 and 2026 in white.
It’s unusual to see an anniversary patch missing a team logo or name, but if it’s being worn on a sweater that already features the team’s logo quite prominently, I suppose those elements really aren’t necessary. I’d expect a second version of this logo, which includes the Winnipeg Jets logo or name, will be made available for retail.
UPDATE: The Winnipeg Jets have since posted another version of their 15th anniversary logo, which indeed includes the Jets logo. I have updated this article to show the full logo in the graphic at the top of this post, as well as including the logo they posted right here:

The current Winnipeg Jets relocated from Atlanta in 2011, where they existed for a dozen seasons as the Atlanta Thrashers. Jets 2.0 adopted the old name, but not the logos (at least initially) of the original Winnipeg Jets, which played in the World Hockey Association and the NHL from 1972 to 1996. What this gives us is a unique situation in which the same name has celebrated the same anniversary a few decades apart, yes, those original Jets already released a 15th anniversary logo in 1986, one which I wish the team updated and recycled for 2026:
