Yes, the White Lotus Incest Episode Brought in Millions of Viewers

The White Lotus is always breaking new ground in taboo. But if it’s really taboo, then why are millions of people watching it? The sixth episode of the White Lotus season three, a.k.a. the episode where Saxon Ratliff (Patrick Schwarzenegger) realizes he had a threesome with his brother Lochlan (Sam Nivola). Over 4.2 million viewers watched the episode on Sunday, that total combines viewers from HBO’s linear channel and the Max streaming service. It broke the record set by the season two finale (4.1 million viewers) in 2022. And there are still more episodes to go, so who’s to say if the penultimate and finale episodes will break an even higher audience viewership for The White Lotus? At least they know one for sure way to get people to watch (through the gaps between their fingers.)
