The Rangers found a way to win a tough game Friday night in Detroit, the second of a back to back with travel. Now they come back to MSG, which hopefully is no longer a house of horrors, to take on the Utah Mammoth. This will be a homecoming for Vincent Trocheck, who was traded to Utah this offseason for a package including Sean Durzi and Cole Beaudoin. Trocheck is, without a doubt, the best UFA signing in the Chris Drury era. He was everything the Rangers hoped he could be, and more. He should get a warm welcome and a video tonight.
The Rangers are riding their two wins in a row. Utah has won both of their games to start the season as they look to build upon last year’s success. The Rangers have another test tonight. Was the Tampa game a fluke? Or are the Rangers for real?
