See Your Calendar in a New Way With Timescape

Timescape is a different kind of calendar app.

You probably already have a day-to-day calendar app like the stock iPhone version or a popular third-party option like Fantastical. Those are great to show what’s happening today, the next day, or even next week. But Timescape gives a big-picture view.

The app provides a full-screen grid view showing an entire year without gaps between the months. All events for the entire year are visible on the grid. Events with single days are shown as dots. Anything that spans over multiple days or an entire day is shown as a capsule.

To help keep an eye on the big picture, you can’t zoom in on a month, week, or day. That’s so you’ll be able to plan travel and more seriously think about the time you have available. Just swipe on the grid to change the year. Currently, you can see 2024, 2025, and 2026.

For additional focus on the grid, when you select an event, it will be shown on the bottom of the screen in a compact ribbon above the controls. You can also create, edit, or delete events with the app. You can choose what calendars to see using the app.

Timescape is a free download now on the App Store. It’s just for the iPhone. You’ll need a subscription to use the app. That’s available for $0.99 per month or $4.99 yearly.

Both of those options offer a 7-day free trial.
