Say what you will about the California primary’s slow-but-steady counting of mail-in votes, but nothing crashed when Spencer Pratt lost.
On Friday night’s episode, Ariana Madix came into the villa to celebrate new love and consign some old couplings into the pits of hell, a.k.a. Love Island: Aftersun. America coupled Caleb up with Kenzie, Jen with Gabriel, and Sol with Sincere. Sorry to Corbin, Bea, and Melanie. Especially Melanie, who was crying her foundation off before the vote was even announced. But especially especially Bea, who got dumped from the island. “Don’t cry you guys, I’m not dying,” she said as she made her exit.
“As a bombshell, you just have to accept that,” Gabriel said to Jen when she said she felt bad about breaking up him and Bea. Too true. But if you believe TikTok and not the voting results as tabulated by Peacock, the true diamond couple of the season is Zach and Bryce. It could still happen.
