The Rangers have lost four in a row, getting just a point in the standings over that time. It’s amusing, since during their four game win streak, folks were concerned about their draft position. Now, those concerns seem to have disappeared. The Ranger are in a three way tie for 31st in the league with Chicago and Calgary. Calgary “holds the tiebreaker” in regulation wins over both, and the Rangers hold the secondary tiebreaker in regulation/OT wins over just Chicago. Long story short, if–right now–all three finish with the same amount of points, it’ll be Calgary, New York, Chicago at 29, 30, and 31, respectively.
As of the drafting of this post, Drew Fortescue is not playing. I don’t expect him to play until he’s had a practice or two under his belt, but crazier things have happened. Lineups are assumed as of 830am, as I’ll be at MSG most of the day for the Band of Parents/Play Like A Pro fundraiser.
Thank you all to have donated to Band of Parents. It truly means a lot.
