The Rangers are looking to continue their little win streak in Calgary, having won three in a row and four of the last five. They will do so without Filip Chytil again, though Jonny Brodzinski has been looking just fine as a temporary 3C fill in. Once those defense pairs were reunited, the Blueshirts have been looking solid and controlling play at 5v5. That’s a big step in the right direction.

Calgary will be one of the Rangers tougher tests on this trip, second to Edmonton on Saturday. This is mostly due to Dustin Wolf’s heroics, as he’s been white hot lately. The Flames have a solid lineup, but a negative goal differential. It’s been Wolf’s show lately, and if the Rangers want the two points, they will need to solve him.
