The Oregon football program on Thursday afternoon unveiled the second combination of its new “Generation O” uniforms, which pay homage to the “Gang Green” Ducks of the mid-1990s.

The apple green helmets feature Oregon’s iconic “O” logo in yellow on both sides, just like the Ducks wore as their primary design from 1999-2011 and on random/special occasions since.

The jerseys are also green with yellow block numbers outlined in white, as well as contrasting yellow cuffs and a yellow collar with the aforementioned “O” and a three-dimensional wing pattern at the base.

The uniforms are complete with Puddles – the Ducks’ mascot – on the sleeves and stripeless green pants. Both details bring to mind their 2014 Rose Bowl set, which featured wings on the shoulders and a modern font.

As mentioned, this is the second of an expected five uniform combinations for Oregon this season. The Ducks unveiled an all-black “Fly Era” version last month, blending various eras into the design.

Meanwhile, for those who have EA Sports’ College Football 25, the uniforms will be patched into the game in the coming weeks to avoid spoiling the remaining designs. It currently features their 2021-23 design.
