The New York Rangers play their final preseason game tonight, capping a four games in five nights stint to the preseason. The schedule wasn’t ideal, but that’s the new CBA for you. The lineup tonight looks like it will be the opening night lineup, though questions linger about backup goalie, 4RW, and Scott Morrow’s status.
Aside from those questions, the rest of the lineup is pretty much as expected. As a reminder, the lineup to start the season is never the lineup that finishes the season. That said, losing a good prospect on waivers for nothing is bad all around.
