Our weekly series covering all of the uniform-related news across the NFL continues today, though it’s worth noting there’s only a handful of teams that will deviate from their standard home or road look in Week 3.

That includes the Minnesota Vikings, who will wear their “Purple People Eaters” throwback uniforms against the Houston Texans. The Vikings went 0-2 in the threads after they debuted last season, including losses to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears.

Speaking of the Buccaneers, they’re choosing to wear white jerseys and pants for the second straight home game, allowing the Denver Broncos to debut their new orange home jerseys after wearing white jerseys through the preseason and first two weeks of the season.

Meanwhile, today’s game against the Green Bay Packers marks the regular-season return of the Tennessee Titans’ light blue alternate jerseys, which were scrapped last season to make way for their Houston Oilers’ throwback uniforms.

Elsewhere, the Arizona Cardinals went 0-2 in their all-black alternate uniforms after the debuted last season, including losses to the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams. They’ll look to right that ship today against the Detroit Lions.

As for the Rams, they’ll wear their white road jerseys – which were originallly unveiled in 2021 as modern throwbacks – with blue pants at home for the second straight year against the San Francisco 49ers, who will counter with their standard home look.

A packed day of football will come to an end with the Kansas City Chiefs wearing white jerseys and pants at the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs have worn white pants on the road twice every season since 2021, going 5-1 during that time.
